Who will be listed as an author?+
Authorship follows ICMJE guidelines. If we contribute to study design, data analysis, manuscript drafting, and intellectual content, co-authorship is appropriate and should be agreed upon at the project's outset. For consulting-only engagements, acknowledgment (not authorship) is standard. We discuss authorship expectations transparently before work begins.
Does PrismaLab perform a full meta-analysis automatically?+
Not by default. Meta-analysis requires extracted study-level data, effect-size planning, heterogeneity assessment, and statistical review.
What if studies cannot be pooled in a meta-analysis?+
Not all reviews require or permit quantitative synthesis. When studies are too heterogeneous in design, outcomes, or populations, structured narrative synthesis and summary-of-findings support may be more appropriate.
